sComm asked Sonny Wasilowski to share his feelings about his experience with the UbiDuo. How do you feel after using the UbiDuo to communicate freely with hearing people? "I felt motivated. In the past, I would keep interaction to a minimum with gestures and at times - writing back and forth on a sticky note. With the UbiDuo, I strive to invite my co-workers and people to use the UbiDuo to have a meaningful and clear conversation whether its about work or how we're doing." What are your thoughts and emotions as you are able to hold your own conversations on the UbiDuo? "Initially, I was arrogant that this device isn't a solution and that quickly went away when it came to me that this is only a beginning of a solution to breaking down barriers to communication. I've called Jason several times with feedback and he's been wonderful. I feel empowered in not only being a customer but a team player to achieve further communication with my co-workers." What situations have you used the UbiDuo in such as meetings or social functions? "Without doubt, the best feature right now is the capability of the UbiDuo to work without cords/wires. I love the fact that I'm able to take the UbiDuo to my one-on-one appointments and to be able to sit across the table with this person rather than to be uncomfortably seated or standing next to the person." What other comments would you want to share with the public about the UbiDuo? "Once you own or become an user of the UbiDuo, you're not only a customer; you become a team player to further break down barriers to communication. I'm anxious to see what the future holds for us because I'm confident that they're working hard with new ideas and features to best serve us to the fullest of our abilities." |
